Bonds has to be #1 , with guys like Clemens, Jackson, Rose, Sosa etc etc. If you discount all of the disqualified guys for drugs/bans I think guys like Belle, Raines and Martinez are up there high on the list. -

They're falling off and I believe it is a mistake. Pitching is on the way up and risking a little to get into scoring position should be stressed more. I hear it isn't due to "player durability" which didnt seem to stop players 40 years ago. -
