Got a funny TTM in yesterday.
Wrote a letter to Mike Sadek for my 1978 Topps collection. Told him in the letter that I was a Dodger fan in the 70's, while my mom was a Giants fan.
He signed and personalized my card and then added a funny note to my original letter. Old joke, but great to see...
Got a great response today.
Sent former Giant catcher, Mike Sadek, a 1978 Topps to sign. In the letter, I told him how I was a Dodger fan as a kid, but my mom was a Giant fan.
He personalized my card for me and then added a funny note to my letter:
I liked how he would get so excited that he was actually trembling while holding up the "steals" in front of the camera.
Also, after he picked up something from the display table, he would replace it all crooked and weird.
Taylor, I found a couple of Dana Kiecker cards. Not sure if you have these, but if you want any/all of them, pm your address to me:
90 Score Traded #102T
91 Score Rising Stars #92
90 Donruss The Rookies #28
91 Topps Toys R Us Rookies #15
I don't know of anyone, but if I hear of anyone, I will direct them to your listings. You also should look into selling on amazon. If you sold them all as one lot, you could sell them quicker, but you would definitely take a hit on the final price.
Sounds exactly like our neighbors next door!
I, too, have launched $hit salvos from their dogs back onto their lawn (or roof, once). Funny thing is, they were the neighborhood "President and Vice President" (whatever that means) for awhile. Rules of common responsibility mean nothing to them...
Another brick in the wall that I like to call " Becoming That Guy In The Neighborhood Who Singlehandedly Will Lower Everyone's Property Values."
I was taking out the trash cans to the curb when this annoying guy who walks these dinky little dogs (that, by the way, $hit all over the place and...
So, after spending more time than a responsible adult should on something like this, I have sorted my 1978 Topps set.
I am 74 cards short of the set, but should be able to finish it pretty easily. Most expensive ones will be the Trammell/Molitor rookie and a few stars like Reggie and Munson.
