100% agree. The reasonable, legitimate reason is that I value my time more than someone like this buyer does, so not having to deal with them is of great value to me. I don't see how anyone would consider the buyer in this example to be "serious". That said, I would not have blocked a buyer... -

NFL Playoffs Game: Conference Round
Seems like a lot of hopes might be dashed with a loss by New England or Denver this weekend. Whereas the Atlanta/Seattle game doesn't look like it will be much of a difference maker at all, unless 1 or both QBs has a Brett Favre-like 6 INT game. -

Greg - this seems like an interesting idea. The $10 contribution would at least seem to incentivize sellers to come prepared and ready to sell, as opposed to someone who just throws out a free thread with cards/prices no one is that interested in. Prizes almost always help! -

If I had to guess, I would think that the majority of people would be afraid that "transaction night" is just a few people trying to see if anyone wants to buy a Wil Myers BGS 9.5 blue ref auto for $325 ($20 less than ebay!). I would be happier selling a quarter of that in inserts and parallels... -

If someone is taking a count, I would be in. I might be more likely to just price cards out on my spreadsheet and provide a link, but could be flexible. I'm more of a trader than a buyer/seller though, so something encouraging trading would be a nice addition to this site. -

J.P. - has Jed Bradley fallen that far, or was he just outside at 11 or 12 or something like that? He's not even listed in the Brewers 2016 rotation, where a lefty would fit in nicely. His first 2 months were pretty stellar last year, and then his last 10 starts he was awful every other time... -

COMC card prices
I think the fact that COMC "holds" the money when you make an offer is one of the best features of the site. It discourages really wacky offers from buyers who don't want to sit on their money waiting for a seller to respond. -
