The condition is incredible for a card from this era! I really ties this set together. Now, if I can just find my Dale Murphy Louisville Slugger.
Thank you guys again!
A thousand thanks to rum151man and to the mystery member who welcomed me to the boards with this one. I had a Dale Murphy Louisville Slugger as a kid, a common thing growing up in Atlanta in the 80s. This one is going on Display right next to the Murphy bobble head I got for Christmas last year...

Soccer cards came in today! They look pretty damn cool. I may have to track down the rest of these!
The Vernon Wells will be going out tomorrow, so keep an eye out.
Thanks again.
I'm gonna dig through my collection and find some sweet stuff (read: older) to put up here. In the mean time, the following are free to good home:
I also opened up some old 90s wax/cello/foil packs and would be glad to share these stickers with fans of these teams.
Passed on this one for today. May go back tomorrow an get it. $7 for the jacket. It had an NFL Apparel tag and had the Sport Illustrated "SI" logo on the right sleeve. I'm just not sure how many Vikings fan exist anymore. Thoughts?
The pic looks blue, but I assure you, it's purple.
Just opened a 1989 Donruss Wax pack and a 2011 Topps pack in the last few days. These were just about the only highlights. Figured this would be a good place to share.
This is closer to my thought process. The cards I'm thinking about are from my childhood. I took pretty good care of them and want to protect them with the option of selling them in 50 years or so, assuming I'm still alive, or giving them to my kids.
Thanks for the advice, everyone.
Although baseball was my first love, I've been playing soccer since I could walk. I'd be glad to de-soccer your collection. Soccer cards are not easy to come by around these parts.
The Gonzalez was just an example. I'm trying to get an general consensus on how which cards (RCs/autographs) are worth the trouble of having them graded.
I recently came across some unopened wax/cello/foil packs from 89-91 that I forgot I still had. I decided to crack open a couple for old times sake. The only highlight, and I use the term loosely, was a '90 Fleer Juan Gonzalez RC. This got me thinking, since the card is essentially brand new...
Coming home from vacation is not a feeling anyone enjoys. But when you get home to find cards in the stack of mail, it makes everything better.
Thanks cubfanbudman !
The cards look awesome!
A guy I work with, DaRonte Smith, played corner at SW Minnesota St. and, if I'm not mistaken, is currently under contract with the Ottawa Redblacks of the CFL. He spent time with Montreal as well. Last summer he worked out with the Falcons here in Atlanta on several occasions, hoping to get on...
Thanks man. A buddy of mine is a t-shirt printer here in Atlanta and prints Braves t-shirts in classic rock band fonts. I picked this one up last year. He also redesigned the "Eat a Peach" album cover to incorporate a baseball. His stuff is here:

"Chicago Cubs fan Robert Bartman is wrangled by police after climbing over the railing and interfering with the Cubs left-fielder while his grandson Steve watches from the stands."
It's obvious to me that this is an umpire. My guess is that he called a third strike on a big guy (possibly Hack Wilson) who didn't take too kindly to the ruling. Well, Hack decided to show that umpire what he thought about the call, and picked him up by his chest protector and tossed him into...
