Nice, guess the same could be said of the right side of the Phillies infield.................or it's just a baseball injury, one he's had in the past and come back from.
Best of luck to the Phillies in the uncoming series with the Giants.
This is terrible news for the Giants and for my fantasy team, so glad I drafted Wilson and Lincecum.
I'd assume Casilla would get the nod as the closer. Romo throws sliders, and when they hang they get hammered. Plus, I'm not sure Romo can handle the pressure of the closer roll, he was terrible...
Cain gave up just one hit in the 6th inning, to the opposing pitcher, and didn't walk a batter. Good to see him rebound from his bad outing against the Diamondbacks.
It is a lot of money for a lot of years but with the new Dodger owners able to throw money around the Giants needed to lock up Cain for awhile and give themselves some time with Lincecum's contract in a couple of year. Now that Cain has signed I wonder is Hamels will as well.
It really depends on the player, the bigger the star, the more the bat will cost.
I have around 15 Jay Canizaro bats, all cost me from $15 - $45 each. But I don't have any game used of Will Clark because the bats routinely sell for $150+.

Re: Rare Cap Anson related postcard find from 1907-08.
Fantastic postcard, looks like my kids t-ball game, just replace the car with strollers and add a couple of dads on the infield.
Can you imagine watching a game from your car on the foul line....amazing!
A link to a Giants spring training video with Clark mentoring Belt. The part with Clark in it starts around the 14 minute mark.

Nice, the Giants used to play on the same theme in 1993 when they had Will Clark and Darren Lewis in the line-up and in 1991 or '92 they used to play on the "Black and Decker" theme when Bud Black pitched to Steve Decker.
No my twins, who were three at the time, did an number on the card while we waited in line. I was OK with it because I want those cards to be keepsakes for them.
Happy 48th Birthday Will "The Thrill" Clark!!!
I've probably posted all of these before, but can't think of a better was to say Happy Birthday to my hero.
A couple of my most cherished Will Clark cards:

Great looking site, I saw that you need a 1995 phone card, check this site they might have one. I bought a couple of Clarks from them a couple years ago.

Re: Framing Options?
Maybe the 8x10 on the right, card and ticket evenly space on the left with the ball attached to the front of the frame at the bottom.
Here's what I have, Robby Thompson played from 1986 till 1996 with the Giants and then signed with the Indians in 1997 but never played for them. Please excuse the large scans.
