I'd offer $205 off of ebay dlvd. for it. Best i'd do. Thats basically a $225 on eBay offer.
It's a good and fair offer, but probably not what you are looking for. If you choose to hold, I couldn't fault you. LMK.
There is a thread about it on blowout. I agree Erich, I always enjoy reading about what is going on with the code.
Too bad the thread there is just a lot of bickering back and forth....much like every other thread there.
Is it just me or has interest in the code and solving it dropped to...
Without knowing that the Lincoln sold for $17.5K, I said in my head that I would be comfy taking 10K cash for the card. 4K is nuts. There are so many collectors for this type of thing OUTSIDE the card collecting world....and then throw in us idiots, 4K is a true lowball offer for this card.
I think it's a cool idea for a product (and break). There are a TON of athletes at this game. Most go on to play baseball, football and basketball at a high level. Would be nice to have these guys first pack pulled certified auto.
Id fully assume that those guys are SPed. At least the base will be. They might do what they did with a few of the guys in the past and skip releasing some levels of the parallel autos for them as well. Sucks, but who knows if they ever even get Puig to sign at this point!
So the Trifecta case break....One slot consists of 6 packs total.... 2 from a Random/Pillowcase break of 4 boxes worth of packs (so when you come up, I pull the pack at random, open it on Cam and thats your hit), the next 2 packs (4 boxes) is a hit draft-random order from Random.org and the last...
It's your call. So much can be missed in scans.
Personally, im not a big grading/BGS fan. If you are looking to sell this at ANY POINT (whether now or in 20 years) I would go ahead and get it graded with a Minimum Grade of 9.5. Most people won't even touch a high dollar Jordan insert unless...
These cards are acetate so they are generally in good shape. That said, a 9 would sell for what a raw would, a 9.5 will carry a small premium and a 10 Pristine (which are not rare for this card) would be about double the raw price for a normal player stretching to 3X for a guy like Jordan.
I'm not a fan of this set up for baseball. To me, baseball is all about RCs, Autographs and great patches. The RCs aren't special, the autos suck and there is no memorabilia.
The parallels look ok, but won't sell at all unless its a GREAT player. If you want good looking colored parallels or...
Michigan D was vastly overrated after last week. The Akron QB is decent though. No excuse though, a good defense doesn't make an average QB look that good.
There's nothing better than an LCS signing. I think Gilmore would tell u that some of the best times he's had in the hobby were having guys like Bobby Cox and AJ Green come in store. Not only for him but for his loyal customers too.
Definitely think its time for the "victory lap" and last shot at glory for him....but you can't expect a guy working solo to be perfect night in and night out, especially at 85. Yeah, 20 years ago he'd have never made that mistake....but there's so much going on in baseball nowadays and so much...
It's basically one hit a box with the patch auto....and of course the good players are SSSSSSSPed.
It looks nice, I did well with my 1 box....but having Inception, Finest and then this all come out within 7 weeks of each other is a little much it's basically the same product 3 times over with...
