Danny, have you read Richardson’s other autobiography, The Bobby Richardson Story, that he wrote in 1965 while he was still playing? Great book. He wrote it a year before his sudden and surprising retirement at age 30.

Rich master set collectors battle over low-numbered cards of early 2000s Topps sets like Heritage, Fan Favorites and Archives. Only 25 people (or whatever the lowest numbered card is) can have a complete master set, so the demand is extremely high. It's been like that for almost 20 years.

I agree it looks like a printing streak. I have several ‘50s cards with similar printers ink lines. I doubt SGC would miss a crease like that. A ‘52 Topps Mantle would be scrutinized and inspected much more closely than other cards.
