Oh, just another $511 Will Clark card serially numbered to 55 . . . WOW!

Thats surprising given they are numbered to 55. Seems like they'd come up more frequently. Guess someone had some money from tax returns.

Frank Thomas 1990 Topps NNOF Error... What's the story?!

If you are looking to obtain one, buying one on Ebay is the way to go. Needle in a haystack does not begin to give an idea of how hard it would be to find product that contained these errors. I know of one person who has pulled the card from packs this century. As far as is known, they are only...

Frank Thomas 1990 Topps NNOF Error... What's the story?!

I have most of these. Here is a picture of all of the 1990 Topps "Blackless" cards together as they appeared on the sheet. Great thread on the PSA board about these, easy to find with google of 1990 Topps blackless.

    Will Clark Collectors Thread

I have two versions of the Clark 1993 UD Fun Packs "Hot Shots" card. One has a glossy finish and the other does not, just one of those production error type things (like no gold foil) but I thought I'd post it here if anyone was interested.

After only 20 years... The Georgia Dome is being replaced. -

The Georgia Dome is like a magic time machine back to the year 1994. The place didn't age well. Probably could use a location with parking that would allow for more tailgating etc. Right now its located in the dead urban core of the old city of Atlanta. The new downtown of Buckhead makes more...

The Official 1991 Upper Deck Hologram Variations Thread

Love threads like this, so I unpiled the closet full of monster boxes and fished out the box with about 800 1991 Upper Deck. Found the following "1990 Baseball" versions: 692 John Farrell 690 Jim Gott 681 Mike Marshall 671 Pascual Perez 659 Dan Gladden 657 Joe Grahe 654 Alex cole 647 Ken Hill...

    Justin Upton to Braves?

ESPN article made it sound that it is likely to happen. Apparently a deal was done with Seattle but Upton had a limited no trade of only five teams or so which included the Mariners, and he wouldn't go. He's got to be better than Matt Diaz. The Braves are really going to miss Chipper this...

    1995 Finest Refractors

I like these a lot. In the six years or so I've been collecting them, supply seems to ebb and flow. Right now a bit of an ebb. I have quite a few up on COMC - feel free to PM me. http://www.psacard.com/PSASetRegistry/alltimeset.aspx?s=42591

Apparently no version devoid of refraction. From the Standard Catalog: ComplementsThis Series 2 insert setpairs two players on a “splitscreen”card front. There arethree different versions for eachcard, Non-Refractor/Refractor(1:56), Refractor/Non-Refractor(1:56) and...

Oh Super Sweet 90's Inserts.... #3

On the 1994 Finest Refractors - When I put the set together Puckett & Bo Jackson seemed scarce. Also there was a strong demand for Rickey Henderson which made the card difficult to obtain (I think the Rickey collectors rotate around on the refractor du jour) Now the Puckett seems to come up...

Oh Super Sweet 90's Inserts.... #3

1995 Stadium Club FDP??? So if I'm reading correctly - were only inserted in Series II packs and only included cards 1-270. So only 270 of the 630 have a FDP parallel? Also in Series I packs there were 9 cards that were basically fake FDP promos that were inserted one per box, meaning there...

Oh Super Sweet 90's Inserts.... #3

Was inspired by COMC to finish up a 1994 Fleer Master set I started in 1994 and has sat in a closet for about that long. Needless to say much easier to find all these inserts in 2012 vs. 1994. Wondering if anyone knows if the /2000 Tim Salmon autograph inserts were all on one card type, the...

    1995 Donruss error?

As soon as I saw the title, I thought this might be what you were talking about. I have a Wil Cordero like you are describing. I saw it digging through a box to send to COMC the other day and wondered if there were others out there and if they were all from the same sheet, etc.

Oh Super Sweet 90's Inserts.... #3

With the 98's I think it would have beed a lot easier if they would have just described them has "one sided" and "two sided" refractors, not sure why they tried to emphasize the lack of protection as the distinguishing feature of the two sided refractors. Series one "two sided" refractors...

The 1990 Major League batting champion

Pascual - one ugly S.O.B. - he looks like the boogeyman! Great story out there about him disappearing into the jungles of Hispanola to do blow. I don't think anyone knows what happened to him. Might want to google that one.
