THE GORILLA IN THE ROOM
Each year they say on the news there will be a federal government shutdown and it never happens because the budget/bill always goes through. I think they will work it out. But.....if there is a lock out, I hope it hurts card prices like it did in 1994 and I can pick up a few things for cheaper. 😈 -

Game used Cards - Is anyone still a fanatic over them?
I will only buy GU or their aesthetic value. I treat them as another insert. I feel there are very few significant releases, unless from significant games like World Series or milestones. Topps Now does it well. I won't pay hundreds for guys like Ruth, Gehrig and Cobb. Would rather put that... -

Finished cataloging my run of Topps sets
I'm realizing the same thing. From 2016 onward, there are 10-12 Yankee SSPs each year between Topps and Heritage, running well into four figures to complete. I'd rather put that money towards vintage cards or higher end autographs. I can't bring myself to pay $100 for a card of Lou Gehrig...
