Aside from his auto on multi auto cards with Nolan or Maddux, and multi patch cards, I cant picture dealers choosing to load up boxes with clemens stuff, or take big boxes of inserts from 20 years ago simply because its not the... -

Couldnt disagree with you of course, but I will remain skeptical. Too many scammers out there messing with all these cards, even 20 years after the fact. Looks like a piece of plain jersey enough that I think its a safe bet that plenty got made that way in the /300 run and werent "patches". -

And here is a plain ol white jersey Baldelli, /300. But the back says "patch", so it might be that they said "patch" for regular jersey swatches/all cards.....again,just doing a cursory search and observing. Not claiming to know.... not sure the word "patch" on back is a smoking gun of proof
