I paid $762 for my grail card in 2018 and that thing has shot through the roof. Talking about the 1993 Skybox Simpsons Art de Bart sketch card signed by Matt Groening. A BGS 9.5 sold last month for $13,100 (mine is ungraded but looks perfect in every way).
Why would Topps offer 25k for a card that sold for 2K? Do you have a source? That makes no sense unless they are trying to make chase cards out of chase cards (which they aren't because the product is already sold).
Anyone that doesn't use snipe bidding on eBay is living in a weird fantasy world. I only manually place a bid if I'm worried a competitor will hit the BIN and I feel the auction should end well under that price.
Thanks! At this point finding his jersey numbered cards are my priority. I'm sure there are still several 1/1's I might be interested in but those are easy to spot when they get listed. Jersey numbered cards take diligence.
