(1,181) 2025 Topps Heritage Custom - Peyton Gray
Peyton Gray made his MLB debut tonight. So this one moves from the Minor League box to the Major League box.
(1,177) 1972 Topps Custom - Gavin Collyer
Collyer made his big league debut today and I got this custom signed when he was in Down East through a 50/50. Always great to see a debut and able to mark it off immiediately.
I've done it many times and I've never had the sticker curl off. I either use a very thin double sided tape on the back or a specific glue. Panini stickers are easier for me for some reason.
Luckily, all of the players I mentioned have sticker autographs available. And Cintron and Schumaker do as well. So if those people (other than Nimmo, because he already has one) don't receive a Rangers card, I will just make a custom and transfer the sticker auto. Suggs is the only one that doesn't
Well, today is opening day. As the day started, I had 53 people on my needs list. I end it with 62.
The new players:
Tyler Alexander
Carter Baumler
Jalen Beeks
Danny Jansen
Andrew McCutchen
Brandon Nimmo
The new coaches and manager:
Alex Cintron
Skip Schumaker
Colby Suggs
My PC is focused on obtaining an autograph of every Rangers player, coach, and manager in history. So even if I somehow reach my goal during an offseason, there will always be new players, so I don't see my collection ever ending. Which is kind of preferred for me.
I bought a used copy of Ivan Rodriguez's autobiography, They Call Me Pudge, and the same thing happened to me. A signed copy for $6. Love surprises like that.
