It's Monday --- Here are some interesting stats to keep you awake

Love him or hate him, here's something you might not have known about Bryce Harper: he struck out only 3 times as a soph.omore in high school. In 90 plate appearances as a Varsity high school player, Harper posted a K% of 3.33%, and a BB% of 24.4%. Oh, and his ISO was a scorching .446...

Would you rather.... Adam Jones vs Josh Reddick

I wasn't trying to make a point. I'm just asking a question about people's preferences. It's the same as saying do you like player A or player B? Ok, so would you rather buy player A's or player B's cards. I don't see how the 2 questions can't be related. And if we can only stick to the...

Would you rather.... Adam Jones vs Josh Reddick

So, you would rather me create a new thread to talk about the cards of 2 players that I've already created a thread to discuss?

Would you rather.... Adam Jones vs Josh Reddick

Nothing really, just that this is a baseball card forum, so why not talk about baseball cards? It's just one more element to consider.

Would you rather..... Profar vs Sano vs Taveras

Didn't expect a Bogaerts vote, but thanks for the input. I actually think Odor is worth considering as well.

Would you rather..... Profar vs Sano vs Taveras

Ok, here's one more thought exercise for the day. For the sake of keeping my mind active throughout the rest of the day, here's the scenario: You have the option of drafting 1 player for your favorite team next year, and the options include Jurickson Profar, Oscar Taveras, and Miguel Sano...

Would you rather.... Adam Jones vs Josh Reddick

I see what you mean. You have a valid point, but let me ask you this: If you had $100 to spend on either players cards and had to spend it all by midnight tonight, which one would you buy? Last I looked Jones 2003 UD RC auto was around $70, and Reddicks 2008 BC RC auto was at $20. P.S...

Would you rather.... Adam Jones vs Josh Reddick

Ok, so the age difference is about 18 months. But I'm not sure why you say that Jones has shown he's an overall player. Last year Reddick posted 1.9 WAR in 278 PAs, while Jones has posted an average of 2.5 WAR the last three years averaging about 550 PAs over that same time.

Would you rather.... Adam Jones vs Josh Reddick

Just a simple exercise for Tuesday morning. If you were starting a team from scratch, you'd obviously take THE Giancarlo Stanton as your #1 outfielder, but if you had to choose between Jones and Reddick for your #2 spot, who would you go with? I've been a Reddick fan since he was in A ball...

Somebody please explain this to me...

I've been keeping a close eye on Taijuan "Vaj Wall" Walker and this seems like a weird sell to me. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2010-BGS-9-Bowman-Sterling-TAIJUAN-WALKER-base-auto-autograph-/150758630222?pt=US_Baseball&hash=item2319ea234e#ht_500wt_975 All the Sterling base autos have been sitting...

    Question about low end prospecting

This is good advice. Especially #5. If you can stick to that rule, it will give you incentive to roll over cards you might be too lazy/disinterested to list.
