It is ironic that all the crap you had to go through to get it makes it an even more thrilling card to own. You can almost thank that guy for being a douche.
Yeah, seeing the attendance of games during that time makes you really grasp how important the growth of night baseball was to the economics of the sport.
Brandon is great with fans and in the community, he just has a very strange relationship with the media. I was disappointed he made his issues with C Trent so public.
I would love to see a Brandon Phillips-Joe Morgan dual auto card. It seems so obvious it is absurd it had not happened yet. I would also like to see Topps Base include each year's Hall of Fame inductees.
I will continue to build my Brandon Phillips collection and hopefully be able to make more progress with Game Used items. I want to continue to work on getting autos of members of the Reds team Hall of Fame ( I'm currently at 21). Also, soon (when they get cards) I will be starting collections...
Every example of that Phillips patch/auto card uses a patch that is not from a Cincinnati Reds jersey. It really pisses me off they messed up this card.
This is not a Cincinnati patch in the Phillips card. The Red's home whites have a transition white between all red and black patches. Also, the shade of red looks off. It looks like it could be an Angels patch to me.
This is suppose to be a 2012 product, and it has 2012 rookies, but also has players on their new teams for the 2013 season. One or the other, Panini, can't have both.
Knowing how Bradley was makes me believe this is probably true, but at the same time this wouldn't be the first time someone has exaggerated incidents in a heated divorce. I'd like to see how this develops before I officially add this to the "Bradley is a piece of crap" evidence.
Man, I feel bad for that guy. Although he should have known it was too good to be true, he is clearly excited about that card and he is about to find out it really shouldn't be his. Terrible situation for everyone, even those that "benifited".
