I drove out of town to buy a few blasters of Gypsy Queen, wasn't sure I wanted to buy the racks since I was worried they might be searched (usually all the packs in this town are heavily searched). They were out of blasters at both Wal-Marts I went to so I just went ahead and bought all 21 of...
Got my first pack in the mail today. I can't recall sending in just 1 set of wrappers (thought I sent in at least 2 or 3 at a time), so hopefully they aren't gonna screw me out of some packs. Anyway, the packs are wrapped in clear plastic so I wouldn't advise buying any packs on ebay, even...
Not counting his eTopps card from 2009, I believe this is his first appearance on a Topps card (unless he's cameoed in others before). Manny Machado even makes an appearance on this card.
I was just going through some piles of older inserts and noticed that there are 2 versions for most, if not all years of these (some years I haven't run across both versions yet but they probably exist). Some of these are printed on clean white card stock while others are printed on grey...
In 2006, Topps debuted their Wal-Mart exclusive inserts. Series 1 are incredibly easy to find, they were inserted 3 per $9.99 blaster and 6 per $19.99 blaster. With just a 18 card set, they were not tough to put together. Not to mention everybody and their dog busting these blasters looking...

Guess they didn't appreciate the many people (including myself) that just listed everything for 1 day and just...
My local shop just had the regular hobby boxes in 1997 so I've never opened one of these before. It has 1 metal card per box, Bronze are pretty much 1 per box, silver are 1:54 & Gold are 1: 108.
Break coming up.
I'm going to bust a box of 1997 SPx baseball. This was my favorite product in 1997 -- opened around 10 boxes then -- never pulled a Grand Finale or an auto, hopefully I can get 1 of those today. I hadn't seen these boxes since 1997 but just recently stumbled onto 2 of them. Wish me luck!
Just got done busting a 12 box case of 2012 Topps Series 2 Hobby. There are 36 packs with 10 cards per pack in every box. (432 packs per case)
Haven't sorted the base cards yet but here's a breakdown of the inserts:
Gold Parallel (/2011) - odds 1:9 packs: 47
Black Parallel (/60) - 1:103...
Had a free item to pick when I ordered some Upper Deck Baseball from dacardworld so I decided to try one of these. Case consists of 20 blister packs, each containing 1 pack of 18 cards. Nothing too overly exciting but here are the highlights (I got 11 base silver starquests and 9 parallels):
Not that I'm complaining, but once again all the suspense is taken out of my case on the first box (and i pulled it out of the middle of the case this time, last time it was off the top).
Box 1 -
AND in the 2nd to last pack....
I ended up with 21 codes, 6 red harpers, 2 silver harpers, & 2 gold harpers. Plus a cognac Koufax & a cognac campanella.
Plus these:
Nice haul for 10 boxes.
Would be fun to win this:

I pulled this from a case of 2008 Topps Update:
I had a couple of ideas on who I think it is but the Reebok shoes kinda killed those ideas. Any idea who this is? Thanks, Andy
