I have a lot of his printing plates from 2012 issues. I have a couple of the Finest autos listed on ebay but have 10 or so other printing plates from 2012 issues. Does anybody here have any serious interest in them? I'd sell those for a whole lot less than for how much I've listed the 2012...

I get your point, but I'm not really a seller for Dozier. I'm a collector. I don't want to do best offer because I don't want to be tempted to take any less. Yes, I listed them high, but that is the cost that it would take for me to move them. Nothing less. With superfractors, all it takes is...

I've seen two, and one of the two was damaged. I bought the one that wasn't. I haven't seen one pop up in a couple years though. It's a really tough issue to find.

Oh Super Sweet 90's Inserts.... #3

Like I said, I can't imagine someone spending thousands for those cards when there are SO many rare and beautiful cards to chase, and that's why I consider it a waste. To each his own though.

Unreal. People like to waste their money I guess.

Oh Super Sweet 90's Inserts.... #3

No way. I've seen a lot of your posts and you're usually spot on, but I just can't see that. Who wants these cards??? Why would someone spend $2500 on that when they can get a MUCH better Griffey or Jeter? This is a promo from a set that nobody cares about. There are the crazy 1990 Donruss...

Basically you're saying your Griffey Leaf Bronze Promo is worth the same as one of my Flair Griffey Masterpieces.

I agree. This card is a joke. Nobody cares about it, rare or not. You can keep flaunting it but nobody cares about it. It can be rare but there is absolutely no demand for it and absolutely no way you haev a $8k offer on it. Bringing it up in the same discussion as a 1996 mirror gold is ridiculous.

I have most of the stuff listed on ebay. It's one of those situations where I'd only sell if the price is worth me letting go of it. My ebay name is dr_mccarthy.

Hopefully all of this leads to more auto cards for him! I'd love for him to have an Allen and Ginter auto, as well as Triple Threads and Museum Collection.

I've collected Dozier since the first day I saw that he had cards. I watched him play close to a 100 games in college at the University of Southern Mississippi, and I tend to collect guys that went to school there (Brett Favre is another one). So, I have most of his superfractors and other 1/1s...

Just thought I'd remind people that no COAs were in the 1994 UD packs with the Griffey/Mantle autos. UD released some years later that had the COA. So, most don't have the COA

Sevilist, many people want that card and are paying thousands for it. Joey has one. Pay the market price and get it from him.

I have a hunch that the owner is bidding this one up. The bids don't make much sense to me otherwise.

I think the Chrome ones won't actually be Chrome but will be a continuation of the ones from the regular Topps set. There is an Al Kaline on ebay right now. You can also find a Tony Gwynn in the sold listings. I've also seen a video of a person opening the Babe Ruth Ultimate Chase once receiving...

I have thought about that and that is the route I intend on going. I have a couple of lawyer friends that would be interested in helping and would probably accept payment in dinner and drinks one night ;)

Yes, the set included guys like Babe Ruth and Willie Mays. Topps issued the ultimate chase in series 1 (30 card set, all 1/1 auto relics) and had a follow-on in Topps Chrome of 10 cards, all 1/1 auto relics. This has truly turned out to be the ultimate chase.
