went to an oddball little flea market that sets up one day a week here just to see what we could spot picked up two of those 1994 texaco all star glasses for the Braves for a buck a piece (they had a mountain of those/yankees/red sox thoguht about grabbing them all) then for cards, no scans -... -

I don't need my cards pristine especially for that price. granted I know if I ever want one of those I'm going to have to pay up - I'd be happy with one a little lower grade raw for sure -

that is probably what I would try to do. if it were anything less than a BGS 9.5 I'd say crack it and don't think twice... but I'd have a tough time cracking a BGS 9.5/PSA 10 of a card like that -

thanks for the scans on these and congrats on the grand finale! I always was not 100% sure on being able to tell the difference between the two but now seeing two side by side it was easy to know I just have the gold - -

got the 99 maddux tek golds in this afternoon and i gotta say after having them in hand I am very pleased with them. they might not be "proofs" but for lack of a better word for them I don't feel slighted by it. they could have just been extras printed for replacement purposes/in case... -

picked up the a pair of the 99 tek gold ref maddux "proofs" from the seller that has the "Executive edge" stadium club cards/all the other proofs... figure for $20 on the pair I could buy worse with the money. thought about grabbing one of the gold edged cards along with it since he had them... -

about the only instance of a cut card being used for a cut signature that I find "Acceptable" in my head...not that I'd want to own it-- but lets say: autographed card A - has major damage/edgewear/severely dinged corners around edges but autograph area is fine or just any combination of...
