Anyone have a buyback from each season of a player's career?

Initially I didn't think much of buyback autos, but they have really grown on me over the years. Would be quite an accomplishment, some of these buybacks have extremely low print runs.

I recently compiled a list for O'Neill, he has 22 buybacks, spanning his career. I am missing quite a few.

X 1986 Donruss #/21
— 1987 (NONE)
— 1988 Topps #/1 or Donruss #/1
— 1989 Topps #/24, or Donruss #/15
X 1990 Topps #/18
— 1991 Topps #/24
X 1992 Donruss #/3
X 1993 SP #/110
X 1994 SP #/97
X 1995 SP #/142
X 1996 SP #/70
X 1997 Topps #/33
— 1998 SP #/23
— "1999" Donruss #/10
— "2000" Donruss #/12
X 2001 Donruss #/29
X 2002 Donruss #/29

Not buybacks but I own a on-card PSA/DNA auto of all Lou Brock playing day Topps cards. Almost done with Gibson and Musial.

Very cool! I am looking to do the same thing with Mariano, obtain one auto from each year.

McGwire has one for every year

'87 - topps /46
'88 - topps /3
(topps also has an '89, '93 and '99)

'89-'02 UD (they range from /1 - /6)

Nobody is even close to owning them all and the /1's are scattered so it's impossible to.

That's pretty cool.

I think Robby Thompson does, I'll have to look it up.

Edit:
Just checked and yes he does, and I think I own one from each year. I'll get them scanned and posted here soon.

Here's what I have, Robby Thompson played from 1986 till 1996 with the Giants and then signed with the Indians in 1997 but never played for them. Please excuse the large scans.

I'm still missing these two to complete the Thompson run:
2003 Donruss Rookies Recollection Autographs #12 Robby Thompson 86 DR/5
2004 Donruss Timelines Recollection Autographs #1433 Robby Thompson 88 BB/1

Joe, McGwire would definitely be tough to complete. On the plus side, he does have multiple buybacks from each year, many with a print run of #/6 making it theoretically possible to have one card from each year if you disregard the prohibitive cost of those autos and the dried up supply.

Ron, great collection, very few collectors can boast having a complete run like that.

I bet those look amazing. There's something magical about signed vintage cards that modern cards don't have.

Not to highjack the thread but to give a bump......those not shown are at PSA/DNA right now.

Thanks, I'd love to finish off the run but I doubt I'll ever come across the 1/1 and I've never seen a copy of the /5 either.
