Came home friday from work to find out that my house had been broken into. Other things were taken but wanted to make mention of this card in case anyone sees it up for sale on ebay or wherever. Thanks for the help.

Sorry to hear that but how did they know where you had it? Was it locked up hidden? Maybe somebody you know could of did it? Was there forced entry with broken windows, etc? Very unfortunate....

That sucks!! Sorry to hear about that! Hope you get it all back! Was it just cards, or more? (and buy "just" I mean "only", and not "just" meaning "unimportant"....):|

That really sucks - sorry to hear about that man. I always wondered how much this happens. It is pretty easy for a thief to find out who bought what cards and get their address if they wanted to. I wonder if they maybe targeted you knowing you had this specific card. Hope you find out who did it and get it back. With such a low #'d card, hopefully they will be stupid enough to try and sell it. Sorry again man.

To the OP I hope it all works out best and you recover your property.

I remember this topic being brought up a few times on the old BMB, and ever since I use a PO Box for all ebay transactions.

the card was sitting on my desk because I had it listed on ebay recently and was hoping for it to sell soon...the thief came in through an unfortunately unlocked window nothing broken upon entry...grabbed 42' tv, xbox, games, and cards on my desk...doubting it was someone i know but the lady across the street said she saw a kid near my house so hopefully that leads to something

Oh man I'm really sorry to hear that. It amazes me how low-life some people really are. I hope you get that one back, I'll be on the lookout.

Make sure you check Craig's List in your area. I doubt who every took it has an eBay account. A friend of mine a few years back had some stuff stolen from his house and
almost the same day it was on Craig's list. So he gave the cops the ad then they (the police) went over and bought the TV and a few other items. Then came back with a search warrant and found a bunch of stolen stuff.
Good luck I hope you find the card.

Ouch. Sorry to hear about this. :( I keep all my cards that have a Beckett value of $25+ in a safe deposit box at my bank. I usually go over there about 1X/month to see them, add to them, take out those that dropped in price or that I want to list on E-Bay. I have a special box at home where I put cards when I do list them on E-Bay, or am preparing to.

Oh man... Very sorry this happened to you. I think i was in the group break with you wherecthis was pulled (if I recall correctly). Heres hoping that the kid's stupidity leads to the card (and other items) being recovered.
