I think everyone kinda just moved to the sports thread.

    Very nice find!

I picked up a Dualshock2 controller for $3. A little dirty, and the L1 button sticks. I'm happy though.

@Hallsgator- Great pick-up on a Presidential autograph. Would love to see the pic. I have scored signed books by VPS, First ladies and other prominent politicians but no Presidents yet.

Very nice- don't forget Ford was a football star. Looking forward to seeing your other "sports" pick-up!

Found the oldest thing I've ever touched at an estate sale yesterday.

Two documents from Newcastle Upon Tyne in England. One from 1853 and the other from 1784

Picked up a TaylorMade Burner 3 Wood. It's a bit older, but for $3, I like it.

Also picked up a copy of MLB '10 The Show for $2. Has Mauer on the cover.

Went game hunting today. I always look for games when I go, but today I had the sole intention of finding and purchasing game stuff.

    Mickey's Speedway USA - GBA $3

Hudson Hawk NES Box and manual - NES $1

I thought I had heard that Mickey's was somewhat of an uncommon game for the 64. I grabbed the GBA version, hoping it would be somewhat limited as well, but that doesn't appear to be the case for either console. The eBay sold listings ranged from $1-$8, but I'm still happy. I don't know what my plans are for it.

The Hudson Hawk box was an interesting purchase. I have never seen an "empty" NES box in the wild. The contents were just as interesting. No game, but the manual, the NP order form, safety slip, bottom styrofoam, and the original plastic bag were all inside, as well as 2 manuals for Disney handheld games, and a storybook that appeared to be attached to a Christmas teddy bear sold at Wal-Mart. It appeared to be missing the top styrofoam piece, but that's to be expected. It's in relatively good condition, but unfortunately, it looks like boxed copies of the game aren't all too uncommon.

They wanted a buck for the box (they assumed that it contained the game). I thought about asking for a discount since there was no game, but I decided not to fuss over it. They do me a service by pricing their game stuff the way they do, so I didn't want to do anything that might rattle the cage over a couple quarters.

I also found quite a bit that I passed on. Some CD-based games, a sports cart for the Genesis, a MW3 Elite hat, and a Dualshock 1. If the Dualshock is still there when I go back, I might snag it, as I don't have one.

The only non-game related item I picked up was a Chevy 8-track tape demo from '72. Looks like it was what the dealer's used to showcase the system in the vehicles?

I can't find much information on it, but similar ones are going for $7-$10 on eBay. I paid $.50 for this one.
