Went to my local Savers today and ran across 4 50 card bricks of 1984 Topps FB in NM/MT condition. They were $1.99 each, so it was worth a shot. No Marino or Elway but I did pull these Rookies...

I'm up to about 65 starter jackets now

I have to go hit up the 3 homeless shelters in my area and see what I can find in their thrift shops they won't need the coats. Seeing all this stuff you guys get and sell for way more then you pay for it, could help a homeless dude get him some ripple on these cold night since he won't mind me taking the jackets hanging there.

Easton Z2k , Easton Redline Z Cores, redline c cores

They were the early 2000's -5 bats with the monster barrels made out of scandium alloy.
I hated those bats. I didnt realize they sold so well. I have 3 z cores and 2 connexions in my garage that were hardly used.

So jealous of all these finds. The only thing I ever find at garage sales is baby clothes and The DaVinci Code. I will have to keep an eye out for Starter jackets, though. Never would have thought they'd be collectible, but I guess it makes sense. Good info.

I don't have an eBay sellers account, so I was thinking craigslist. It would still get enough attention because there are lots of 49ers fans out here.

The funny part is though, that there is an unexpected vehicle issue so I may not get back to this store in time. I am kinda upset, but we will see what the mechanic has to say about it.

Craigslist is tough to get top dollar, I never list any of my jackets on there. Just buy when deals pop up.

You got a bike???? I'd ride a bike to make $200.... Lol

Haha I do have a bike, but the place is 40 miles away.

I'm not too worried, as the inventory of this store doesn't change very often (most of it is crazy overpriced) and the only people that stop there are truckers or people that need to quickly fill up, so as long as I can get there in a day or 2, I'll be fine.

I'm actually thinking about consigning it. I'd probably have to compare some numbers, but I'll handle that after I purchase it.

Don't want to get into a major ramble about this like I did in the other thread, but I ended up buying the jacket today. I paid $8+sales tax.

One tiny issue... Not the $200 coat I originally thought it was. It's a later production coat, but the listing I saw on eBay ended at $75, so I'll still make a bit of money, possibly.

I had a chance to go over the coat after I bought it. The fraying is on the underside of the NFL patch, not the patch itself. The buttons are missing some paint, and the tag in the back has a slight toning to it, barely noticeable.

I gotta figure out how to sell it quickly with no seller's account on eBay.

is yours the same as the one you pictured here??? the reason that one prob didnt sell for much is 1. its a medium 2. the red had blead into the white trim making it pink & 3. buttons show a lot of paint loss

these are the ones that sell for $150-$250 depending on size & condition

I just picked up an SF giants today off craigslist

Here is a quick cell phone pic of the actual jacket. Lighting sucks, so I will do better pics when I am able too.
