Just remembered someone here bashing Holt after I said he was a great hitter (when we traded for him from Pitt.), and the guy also claimed he had "bad defense" and wouldn't hit in the majors. After last night's game, I just remembered the conversation and looked it up. Apparently the guy ripping Holt hasn't been on since 2013. Oh well.

Haha love how this thread got necro'd. The trade actually turned out good for both sides, because Melancon figured out how to pitch outside of the AL, and Holt has been super valuable for the Red Sox. I had high hopes for Hanrahan, but that didn't work out so well. GO BROCKSTAR!!
