I remember both, especially Scramble! The left-to-right action, the tricky cave maneuvers, loved it.

Asteroids started it all for me...ship hunting for hours

Track and Field I probably put the most money into, but because there was a large group of us setting records constantly. I remember sitting in class taping pencils together, and adding padding to use on that game after school. (ANYONE REMEMBER THIS?)

Xevious...not sure why. I was good at it, no one else really played.

Contra was huge as I got older, college, and then also in college Addams Family Pinball was (is) the best Pinball game I ever played (+1 to @cartersprings)

I remember the name Xevious, but have no memory of what the game was like.

As far as pinball, my buddy and I used to play for, literally, HOURS on 4 credits, alternating play back and forth on Star Trek: The Next Generation pinball.

Nice to know others used "items" to play track & field

Anyone notice so far that only "vintage" arcade games have been mentioned so far?

Come to think of it, do arcades even exist now?

    I always loved these.

    HydroThunder
    Off-RoadThunder
    Cruisin' World
    Cruisin' USA

I know Nintendo had World/USA in cart form, so I don't know if those count. The arcade version was way more challenging though.

Yes, but they are very few and far in between.

This thread sure shows the age gap between a few of us.

When I first read the title I immediately thought of Ms. Pac Man... Warp Speed Version.

I dont even know most of the ones listed.

I liked Track and Field as well. Rampage was fun also.

I dont think I have walked into an arcade since 1990.

It was always fun walking into a store when I was a little kid and seeing Ms. Pac Man and begging my mom and dad for a couple quarters. I love the sit down verson that many restraunts had. I think that was mostly Pac Man tho.... not sure if many had Ms. Pac Man

I currently own a Ms. Pac Man, Neo Geo MVS 4 slot and a generic cabinet I switch boards in every now and then. I currently have Tetris, Bomberman and Buster Bros for the generic cab. For the MVS I have around 20 or so cartridges for it like King of Fighter, Metal Slug and some others. My favorite arcade game is Donkey Kong though. I sold mine a while back and regret it some even though it was looking like it may need some work.
