He probably got tired of spending a fortune on minor leaguers who didn't pan out and now his huge stash of superfractors and other rookies he spent tens of thousands on are now just a giant pile of shiny crap.
He's still buying guys...all the time
Yea, it looks like he is putting together a 1984 Topps Football PSA 9 set.
Haven't seen much prospect stuff out of him lately.
That still has never surfaced? He's on a quest, going door to door across America, Canada and Japan asking everyone if he can search through their kid's card boxes hoping to find the Longoria superfractor.
Wonder what he does for a living that has afforded him the ability to have one of the most enviable modern collections around. Would be cool to see his entire collection shown off somewhere, although I think there used to be a site that somewhat kept up with his stuff.
When his 2 cents are worth $37 and change its no wonder he can afford al of those cards. He does DosEquis commercials

Eskimos have seven words to describe his beard.
Does he also have inside jokes with complete strangers?
