You know some of these sketches look real nice. Several of them look pretty darn awful though. I am surprised some of these were put out honestly.

2013 Leaf Masterworks Big Hit Tracker

You gotta be pretty critical to call any of these awful. I certainly cannot sketch anything, so to me, these are all pretty amazing and I think each artist has their own unique style that you can really see across these sketches. I really like the heavy orange and black Bob Gibson and the style of sketching used on it.

Really like the black and white HOFers too. Oh and the In Action Sanders!

My guess is that Pangan knows that facial lips are an over rated body part.

I don't mean to keep busting on Jay Pangan, but someone really should've told him that he was allowed to use logos.

His sketches would be some of the best in the product if not for the big, blank spaces on the fronts of the caps.

What's the etiquette on buying something like this, sending back and asking the artist to finish the piece off with a team logo on the hat?

I do not understand why they did not use the freedom they had to put logos on all these cards, after all this was a way to get around Topps monopoly and not all the artist took advantage.

That would be funny to get the card and send it off to be finished lol

Not sure if anything can be added to them. Usually when things like that are finished, they are sprayed with a sealant to protect the artwork.

Some of the cards look really great, others look ok at best.

The young and Phillies Pete Rose look good, the left profile one is kinda......

Usually, once a sketch card is approved by a company for inclusion in their products, the company frowns upon the artists making 'updates' to the approved image.

You are my favorite artist. I like your work so much that I bought the enclosed cards off of ebay. If it's not too much to ask, will you please add the appropriate MLB logos to all of the caps, and send them back to me? That would be awesome.
