A little break from the minor league stuff. Just got these in. I collect print error cards. My best guess it is a blank layer on front. I love stuff like this and was happy to add the regular card to the collection too.

I recently bought a collection of complete and incomplete Minor League Yankees sets. I bought it knowing most of the major stars would be missing. It was over 700 cards. Of course the 1981 Nashville Sounds Arby’s set was picked through but it did contain the Team Card which shows a nice cameo of some well-known players and coaches:
Check out the young pictures of:
Don Mattingly
Willie McGee
Otis Nixon
Buck Showalter
Mike Morgan

Kevin, nice pickups!

The Strata came a couple of weeks back, fell short of my expectations, but the Stadium Club is definitely a keeper.

Love old TCMA sets and Minor league sets from back in the day (70s-80s). I have a nice run of Dodger sets. Kevin, Do you have the big Jeter minor league card? I of course am missing the 2 biggest Dodger minor league cards (Piazza and Pedro 1st cards).

No, I do not have the early Jeter stuff. I was away then in the US Navy so I am missing those years.

Here is yesterdays mail:

This is my 1997 Bowman #48 Tino Martinez card with no Bowman logo and no name on front.

One more for the error collection. The front is a '98 Pacific Paramount Paul O'neill card with a wrong back #69 Jeter. I held off a few times and the card kept getting relisted. I wanted it for the O'neill but the Jeter is a bonus. Would have liked it better for the opening bid but its home anyways. I'm such a sucker for these wrong backs.
