A friend of mine came across some items a person said were game used from the MLB All-Star game and he wanted to know who to send them to to authenticate. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Memorabilia from the All-Star Game should have MLB authentication, the hologram. A lot comes out from MLB auctions. So if it didn't came from MLB or a card company I would be vary suspicious.

I would suggest they look around gameuseduniverse.com and/or post there with pictures of their item. I can almost guarantee they will find help. If they don't feel like doing their own research they could send it to PSA, MEARS or some other authentication service.
