**DISCLAIMER** This is not a thread intended for bashing Topps' customer service, nor are comments about logos welcome here. Those are debates and opinions we've all heard too many times. There is no "agenda" here.

Thought it would be a nice on-going thread for those like-minded individuals (who, like it or not, are currently in the minority) that include modern, "current day", Panini cards in their collections. Your reasons for or against collecting these cards is not important here, let's see those Prizms! Let's see those National Treasures! Let's see those Donruss Statlines!

I'll add some of my own soon but in the mean time, WHAT YOU COLLECTIN'?

For purely selfish reasons, I appreciate Panini for including Mark Grace in new releases. Nice to have something new to collect, since Topps has ignored him since 2007.

I appreciate their turn around time on redemptions. I've had them all fulfilled so far in a timely manner with no issues. Almost makes pulling a redemption from a pack not so nerve wracking.

And I love prizm. Especially the blue refractors and the red white and blue refractors.

From the limited amount of products they make, they sure do a good job with collector (and wallet) friendly products!

2012 Prizms. Love the Blues, seem really tough to find, not sure if a print run was ever given or calculated for the 2012's?

Prizm reminds me of the early days of Finest/Chrome: Etching all over the card to give it that extra pop. Now? Topps is just lazy, at least with the baseball releases.

They actually listened to me on a replacement last week. I had a football redemption for Dre Kirkpatrick auto and I requested a Dolphin player for the replacement. I knew they wouldn't go for Tannehill but I also said Lamar Miller is fine. They sent a dual game used/auto card of Miller as the Kirkpatrick was only an auto. It's a pretty sweet card, so I feel they did the right thing. Thanks Panini. Still no response from Topps after 3 emails regarding a bunch of old redemptions.

I'm on board with any set that includes the first Rob Deer certified auto (aside from Leaf Memories)

I love picking up Panini singles. They have (IMO) the best selection of quality GU and autos of HOF/veteran stars. It amazes me the quality of the older players they have. It's also nice with their mix of current stars as there are some decent cards of my PC dude Felix. I'm still waiting on 3 redemptions from National Treasures of Felix Hernandez jumbo patch autographs that I am hoping will be fullfilled sometime soon:
