Uh, nope. Shes so cute, she has em all stacked in little flower containers in her room. Definitely not super organized like my baseball cards, thats for sure. But shes only 8, so its more about having them than proper care and storage.

I never realized it either til the other night, and saw that it may be a quick way to make a dollar or two, since these are free in the stores. Especially for those of you who live in a town where you can get those city specific ones. Ebay would be the only way for other collectors to get them for their collections.

I knew that, just poking fun at people who get freebies and flip them. Seriously though, I wonder if there are boards for gift card collectors?

This whole topic of collecting gift cards is pretty interesting. Who would have thought there was such a demand?

I stopped by my local Starbucks this morning and there's a display for a couple dozen different designs, mostly holiday-themed. They are touted as "exclusive 2014 artist's designs." The display just had pictures of the cards; the slots were empty. I asked the girl as I got my coffee and she said you have to pick which card(s) you want and get them loaded instore. I guess they had too many people just taking them.

I'm curious now to check the Starbucks at the hospital where I work.

Well, you can see all the USA Cards ever released here at this site
    https://buckscards.com/usa.htm

I was telling Olerud this, but Friday I took the girls to Yogurtland, which was coincidentally next to another Starbucks. This one had a different display than my usual Bucks, and she hit it hard. Got home and I printed up the "checklist" from the website. Between the two stores, she got all 90 new holiday ones. I thought it would have taken her much longer to do this, to the point where I thought I would be ordering some off of ebay.

She still needs the City specific ones. They werent part of the 90 new ones, so for those of you who are searching for me/her, thanks! She is like us, in the sense that she wants the cards she doesnt have yet, so she gets excited when she sees one. Her face lights up. I can only imagine thats what we look like in card shops

Alies first cards arrived in the mail. One from Facebook, the other, from our resident Olerud collector here at FCB. Thanks so much! She loves them. I gave her a binder with business card sheets and we filled it tonight. She had a blast!

Picked up this one yesterday, which I don't think is in your picture checklist (though I may have just missed it). I'll try to pick up a couple of bilingual-back versions of holiday designs too. Tell Allie to watch her mailbox in a week or so!

Thats excellent! I am glad to hear they made it and even happier to see the smile on her face. I live literally between Chicago and Milwaukee and head to both places frequently. I will keep an eye out for any new ones from either of these areas.
