Cubs fans are drooling over him.

Prospectors, not so much. They just want him to blast everything out.

I fear a Addison Russell will be back in Iowa soon. Soler's K's are becoming concerning too. Bryant, Castro and Rizzo will have to carry them for a while.

10 Game Totals:

13 for 37
.351/.478/.459
6 R
9 RBI
4 2B
8 BB
9 K
1 SB

7 by Matt LaPorta.

Now that LaPorta's record is clearly safe.

Did some more research for fun:
As far as I can tell, the MLB record from most at bats before 1st career HR is 3,246 by Al Bridwell. An interesting player in Cubs history as he was the batter for the "Merkle Boner" play in 1908 for the Giants and finally hit his 1st HR as a Cub in 1913.
