Well, they don't really have to provide anything. Besides, kinda adds to the mystery a bit I suppose.

I've got a guy who indicated he has pretty much dropped out of the sports card game and gone to gaming. I understand he makes money on the gaming stuff. At the same time, I've had to explain to him that it's hard to make any good money on the sports cards when your heart isn't in to it and you're having to actually hustle to get things in that sell. Or at the least be willing to order new wax. He won't so I figure it's a self fulfilling prophecy. The gaming stuff sells itself and people buy it because it's not so much a gamble like wax is.

I'd say after '05, as well, when the RC was not a draft pick, it was an industry designated 'RC'. So, someone could have a card, but it wasn't a true 'RC' unless it was marked as such. Just goofy. Plus, losing all these brands as paid sport entities becoming collegiate card holders. Losing UD was a death knell, IMO. No matter what they were doing wrong, they were something everyone in the hobby looked forward to busting.

I bought 4 more JJ's, but, folks seem to not like monster pics of them...

There are two full sized Hunter Pence 2006s up right now. So there is some overlap. I too wonder if they just grabbed some at random.

Looking through all those lots, it appeared as though there were significantly more recent cards (2010 on, say) than earlier cards (e.g., 2006-2009). This might explain why I only saw one Matt Diaz card (2008 base--already have it) and zero Jonny Gomes cards (he was in the 2006 and 2007 sets), despite going through many hundreds of cards. Man, that was tedious.
[MENTION=10405]Hawk8[/MENTION], seriously. It's complete laziness, and probably helps to explain why so many of those lots went for .50 per card or less.

When I first heard about these, I thought they were utterly ridiculous since they added some buybacks from last year. Well, now I have 3 incoming and love them!

A few months back, I had a buyer on Sportlots buy a ton of A&G base and minis from me, mostly 2009 and 2010. Now I wonder if it was someone picking this stuff up for the buyback program.
