    OJ and Parole

So it looks like OJ will be out on Parole in October, what are the thoughts on this? I believe something else later on down the road will surface and he will be back in court and potentially back behind bars YET AGAIN...

Sadly, the nine years OJ has spent n da pen has given the real killers 9 years to cover their tracks. Can he still catch them????

Bring me your Bickford, Ryan McMahon, Senzatela and Peter Lambert cards

He'll die in jail. You know that bonehead will do something to violate his parole since he was too stupid to get away with double murder and decide to commit another crime rather than laying low for the rest of his life. I hope it's something like on October 1st he's released from jail, he drives to Las Vegas, celebrates his "freedom" with family and friends by smoking marijuana and then the police send him back to jail.

Sounding like his move to Florida is a mere paperwork formality between Nevada and Florida. Florida corrections seems to say in a press release that they can't keep him from coming to florida since he's a resident of the state or has family in the state. I hope he's given constant shakedowns by the Florida police in order to try to find something that violates his parole.

OJ's biggest crime against humanity? Giving us the "Rise of the Kardashians".

While I think we can all agree he skated on two murders, I wonder if another person under the same set of circumstances would have been given the same sentence for the robbery?

Hopefully, he can get back to his hunt for the "real killers".

I think that’s a firm no. It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if someone with no prior convictions in the exact same situation was just given probation.

OJ got hosed, everyone knows it. He shouldn’t have even went to jail for the ‘robbery’. All the stuff he went into the room to get was later found to be his by a court. and given back to him.

Yeah, he probably killed two people, but for THIS case, he was completely hosed. They threw the book at him because he got off in the murder trial, which is wrong.

I agree. I think his sentence for the robbery was a "make up call" for the (possible) murders.

I don't like "make up calls" in the NBA and even less so in our criminal justice system.

and then he got parole because he got off in the murder trial (parole board specifically said his double-murder case would not be in play while considering whether he should be paroled).

I'm just waiting for OJ to blow it and end up back in jail. Too big of ego to not do something to violate it.

While watching the parole decision live I looked at my wife after it was read and told her I wouldn’t be surprised if he was murdered before being released.

Then a day or two later I saw where he had been removed from the general population.
