Sale vs Verlander at 4 pm. Who wins? Who will step up for these teams? Any hunch?

I think winner of game 1 wins ALDS, at least in Stros'-Sox series.

Tribe should beat NY. But that feller Judge...he may steal the show.

I have no allegiance to either team.
I have cheered for both teams throughout various games during the season.
Both teams have players I like.
Both teams have players on my fantasy team
I've got some friends who cheer for the Sox and some who are Astros fans (all of them are imaginary or exist as avatars on the internet. Yes, I'm talking about you scotty216brs).
So I'm just hoping to be entertained.

Surely Game 1 will not disappoint with Sale & big JV on the mound, two of my favorite AL pitchers.

Smart pitchers for sure.

Check out arm on Sox rookie Maddox. FB got some giddy up with hair.

Price and Carson Smith are a nice road to Kimbrel also.

Isn't he the prospect who was recently called up in September? I remember hearing about a relief pitcher who has been dominant since his call-up but never caught the name.

Brings me to another comparison. Both teams have consistently elite farm systems (Both systems recently traded a good portion of top 100 guys but I have no doubt they'll fill right back up) and prospects I'm invested in (Chavis, ex-Red Sox Kopech, Tucker...also got some leftover A.J. Reed rotting away in the corner).

Sale, Greinke, Severino, Santana (not really an ace), Gray (not really an ace) have all gotten the smack down so far.

I'm hoping JV avoids the smack down bug and puts up some goose eggs from here on out cuz he's my boy. He has fine taste in women.
