Wow, what an ending. Correa and Altuve, two of the best.

What an amazing performance by Verlander
Look, I'm gonna be honest with you. I really need a job. And I will take any position, as long as it doesn't involve having sex with old ladies for money or bear traps. Those are my two bugaboos. While mulling over my resume feel free to check out my baseball card collection, it's small and simple, kinda like me - >>>>> http://s822.photobucket.com/user/JDf...ds%20n%20stuff

Awesome ALCS game! Might be the biggest height differential of an outfielder trying to throw out a runner at home. It would be cool to see the 2 of them standing next to each other.

The NLCS game was great too. It's really ashame Seager is out for the series with an injury. I feel bad for him. Hopefully both series go 7 games. I look for the Cubs bats to bust out in the game today.

Hopefully the rest of the series is as good as game 1.
I agree with this. Just remember that when teams make the playoffs a lot of adult “fans” show up. It is usually these people cheering for injuries.

Justin Verlander is a boss of the postseason. His career numbers in the playoffs:
    10-5, 3.18 ERA (3.39 FIP) 1.07 WHIP, 116 IP, 128 SO, 9.9 K/9 3.66 K/BB
Look, I'm gonna be honest with you. I really need a job. And I will take any position, as long as it doesn't involve having sex with old ladies for money or bear traps. Those are my two bugaboos. While mulling over my resume feel free to check out my baseball card collection, it's small and simple, kinda like me - >>>>> http://s822.photobucket.com/user/JDf...ds%20n%20stuff

Dallas Keuchel is a budding postseason monster too. His numbers in the playoffs:
    4-0, 1.69 ERA (2.81 FIP) 0.98 WHIP, 26.2 IP, 31 K, 10.5 K/9 3.44 K/BB

Verlander has moved up to 7th on both the all-time career postseason strikeout & wins leaders

He has been nasty this year in general, never mind those post-season #'s being elite.
WTTF/WTB: Looking for Red Sox cards I don't have of players from modern Bowman products. Always open to trade!

Funny you bring him up. Back in 2015 (the year Keuchel won the Cy Young) during the midseason I openly told everyone on Blowoutcards that I was going to invest in a 2009 Bowman Keuchel refractor rainbow and I caught a lot of flack from the members on that site telling me it was a terrible investment because he didn't reach the majors until his mid 20's and had just been really lucky that year. I ended up falling short of the superfractor & red refractor. I had nearly forgotten I had even done that and It wasn't until May/June when Keuchel was dominating again that I realized I had a near complete rainbow. Since his cards were so inexpensive when I had bought them and they were going for so much at the time I decided to unload my collection and eventually turned a $500+ profit.

Not bad for some cards I forgot I had for well over a year.

The Cubs lose again. Looks like they will be swept. They can not hit their way out of a wet paper bag! Bryant has turned into a strike out machine and should be benched.
