    Am I alone here?

I hate two characters in commercials. The Chevy dude and the Verizon guy. Those fake commercials about kids and families falling in love with a car instantly annoy the crap outta me. There's also the Verizon guy who I'd like to punch in the mouth (I'm completely non violent) with his stupid faces. Am I alone in loathing these two?

Oh. The Verizon guy. You must mean that smarmy hipster guy! Thomas Middleditch. Apparently he is sort of an established actor on his own, and good for him. But those commercials drive me f'in bananas. I am not particularly prone to violent outbursts (except after being outbid by a snipe from my ebay nemesis!) but every time I see one of those commercials I am filled with an overwhelming desire to do permanent damage to that guy's trachea.
Collecting Roberto Alomar. Over 4000 unique cards, but always looking for those I'm missing!

didn't know Verizon brought back the "do you hear me now" campaign and Chevy Dude must be somewhat unmemorable as it's not hitting me who that spokesperson character is.

If it doesn't air during CNBC financial programming, baseball, football or college basketball, I usually don't see the ad as I skip over the ads on stuff I DVR.

what does annoy me is the "everyday citizens" acting in those liberty mutual ads and how clueless they are about how insurance works and usually what auto insurance policy terms are (like vehicle value used to reimburse for a totaled car instead of replacement value unless you pay extra for replacement value coverage).
