    Not too proud to admit that, as a 40+ year baseball fan, lover of baseball history and stats, I’ve prounounced his name as Red “Skone-dinst”. Not sure how many times, or if ever said or heard his name out loud. RIP Red “SHAYN-deenst”, the proper way to pronounce this great’s name.
