CNN's Anthony Bourdain dead at 61

CNN confirmed Bourdain's death on Friday and said the cause of death was suicide. Shocker. What the hell is going on with people? Something in the water? I do not care what anyone says, suicide is not the way out. I can not say RIP because he probably never will.

You may want to take a step back and recognize that mental illness and other factors don't really leave room for people to think about their decisions rationally.

Who has ever tried to convince you that anyone thinking logically would think suicide is the way out?

I will not get into my private life with you. If you have never dealt with the issue personally then lucky you.

I have dealt with it in my life. Not me directly but that still doesn't really explain your original assertion. These actions aren't born from the use of rational thought.

No one will ever try to convince you it's the way out.

I had no idea he or his show was that big a deal. The tributes pouring in from every walk of life.

His "well done steak" story cracked me up...

I briefly saw the headline earlier today and was half expecting some mention of him eating a pufferfish or something exotic like that to do him in, kind of like hearing how Steve Irwin died. I caught his show a few times, but was not a regular watcher.

Rest in Peace Bourdain! Best regards, David
