Hello all,
Longer story short, I have accumulated quite a few empty wax wrappers and boxes over time while opening the packs searching for something cool (sadly I never actually pulled anything too exciting). I never had the heart to throw them out, especially since I opened each one so carefully. Anyways, I wanted to pass these along to player collectors who would appreciate them. Please don't reach out if you just plan to re-sell these on eBay as "rare" and expensive items, especially those Gwynn boxes, which could be turned into the "rare blank back proof" cards we all see for exorbitant prices. I only ask if you could help me cover the stamps, envelopes, etc. If you wouldn't mind sending over $1 per wrapper and....maybe $5-$10 per box (not sure exactly how much it would cost to ship a box safely), that would be much appreciated, since I may be sending out many packages. Here is what I have:
-2002 UD 40Man, featuring Ken Griffey Jr (3 boxes, 72 wrappers)
-2002 SP Authentic, featuring Mark McGwire (5 boxes, 120 wrappers)
-2002 UD Rookie Update, featuring Sammy Sosa (1 box, 15 wrappers)
-2009 UD A Piece of History, featuring Josh Beckett (2 wrappers)
-1999 Pacific Aurora, featuring Tony Gwynn (1 box, 36 wrappers)
-2000 Pacific Paramount, featuring Tony Gwynn (7 boxes, seemingly infinite number of wrappers)
For the moment, I would like to limit how many wrappers per product I give to each person, just to make sure everyone gets their shot (with the exception of the 2000 Paramount wrappers, since I am probably never going to be able to give all of those away. Please do not ask for more than 3 wrappers per product (or one of the '09 Piece of History packs). Again, I opened each pack meticulously, so there are few to none that are ripped or torn. Most are split open across the top seam or down the back seam. Any wrappers that are torn will be thrown out and not given away. Note, the 2000 Paramount wrappers do have price stickers on them (but should be able to come off with some work).
