    Red Sox AAA team moving

The Pawtucket Red Sox signed an agreement with the city of Worcester, Massachusetts for the team to move to Worcester by 2021. The city will spend 90 million dollars to build a 10,000 seat stadium near downtown. The team will be called the WooSox.

Worcester had some strange ideas over the past few years to get more people to come downtown.

Worcester does a lot of things back*sswards. The site they are building the stadium on is an old government forging company and the industrial chemicals are still in the soil. I guess as long as the fans don't eat the dirt or breath the dust. They will be ok.

The land isn't that big. Parking will be a *****. Unless they take the rest of the land by eminent domain. Worcester was famous for that in the 60's. It's screw the poor residents all over again. Traffic will be horrendous. I'll just stay home.

So the politicians and other govt officials will receive kickbacks to ignore the contaminated soil on the Worcester ballpark site?? I know here, the soil has to be remediated before something can be built on it.

Worcester still acts like it's in the Tammany Hall era of politics. The one's with the money get what they want.
