and Topps screwed the pooch on it (if you are a collector, IMHO). Maybe this needs to go to the worst card manufacturer ideas thread.
10-card pack for $10 - 900 card set, low numbered parallel chances, no relics or autos, 100 card wave released every 3 weeks.
As a collector - nope. I am not spending at least $900 (and maybe more like $1800 due to poor collation) to make the set as much as I love Topps Total.
$40 for 36 packs/10 cards per pack and I'm there! With no relics or autos or other inserts and not many parallels (since they would be low numbered), $40 for 360 cards in a box should be doable with great margins, IMHO.
As a manufacturer, I can see why Topps wants to bring back Topps Total this way - payday loan-like margins on the product.
