There should be a serious of icons on a header at the top of the blank field.
To post a pic, click on the one the third from the end. It kinda looks like a picture frame wit a tree in it. It should prompt you to "Insert image" by either uploading a file or by posting a link code.
Just to the right of it should be an icon with what looks like a piece of film that lets you post a video.
