Bad news, Rockies fans.

BRENDAN RODGERS 2B, COLORADO ROCKIES

Brendan Rodgers underwent surgery Tuesday morning to repair a labrum tear in his right shoulder.
Rodgers was placed on the MLB injured list on June 25 with what was originally called a right shoulder impingement. Obviously it proved to be more serious than that. The 22-year-old top infield prospect will be sidelined for the remainder of the 2019 season and might also be delayed at the opening of the 2020 campaign. Rodgers had batted just .224/.272/.250 over his first 25 major league games this year, but his minor league numbers are eye-popping and he should still have a bright future.

The ONLY positive and it’s completely selfish is MAYBE he comes back through Lancaster although I’d rather have seen him with ROY
