Bought a 2019 Trevor Store allen & ginter unripped card on 7/28, eta on card was 8/2. Tracking numbers shows movement from Georgia to Indy to Detroit office then says in route to next facility (Ypsilanti 40 miles away), that was on 7/31 and thats where the trail ends. Asof today 8/23 nothing.

What should my next course of action be? never had this happen before.

so basically sweat it, but dont sweat the seller.

they did their part.

btw: most of the time it happens on packages either mislabeled or hv items that require chain of custody sigs at every stop. which means they dont necessarily go the same route/trucks as your everyday stamped mail goes.

As noted above, don't get angry at the seller but definitely let them know what's happened. Ask for a description of the package (yellow padded #0 mailer, white envelope, etc) as that will help the PO locate the missing item. They can also push the PO from their end. Meanwhile, take your tracking number to your local PO and see if they can initiate a "find mail" on that number. I don't know the exact term they use, but they should be able to help determine whether it's been lost or not. It still takes days or weeks for that to finish, so don't expect an answer when you walk out of the post office.

Good luck!

did all that and the post office said "until it gets scanned into our branch, nothing we can do" a claim has been opened with paypal/ebay. they said atleast 21 days for a result.

also contacted the seller about it and told him that it was not his
fault.

just rest assure that while the seller did do their part, it is the sellers responsibility until it is “delivered”.

most of the times in cases like this, ebay will cover both you and the shipper provided “tracking” is official, 31 days has lapsed and both of you do not have a history of any “shenanigans”.
