Pure class indeed. I went to a Tigers/Indians game in Cleveland a few years back. We had good seats behind the Tigers dugout which I'd usually try to get occasionally for the great view, some nice pics and to possibly grab an auto or 2. Curtis came off the field from warm-ups to a fairly large crowd that had gathered at the end of the dugout and signed autographs for literally every single person that asked for one including myself until he had signed for everyone. Then he leaned on the railing and just talked with people for a good 20 minutes or so. He was getting a day off but even so I've never seen another player give that much time to the fans, ever. He just seemed to be very humble, courteous and genuinely a really nice guy.
