I got two boxes from Andrew and Allen & Ginter and they got me interested in the product. My shop had one box and I bought it. Now I want your HONEST opinion.

09 Allen & Ginter
Paid $80 for the box.
Hits were:
Ryan Howard Jersey
Hideki Matsui Jersey w/pin.
and

Curtis Granderson Rip Card 04/10

If it was numbered to /99 I would have ripped it in the store. But being numbered to 10 I wasn't sure if I should risk it or are there Granderson collectors that would pay decent for a sealed card (or rip it card collectors). So take the poll and LMK what you think. Take into account box price, other hits values, etc... **For those in the know, whats the best way to open the card with minimal damage to the original card (if vote goes that way ;) )

Thanks :D

Re: RIP IT OR DONT RIP IT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Rip cards sell pretty well and I'm sure you could get a lot for it, especially as it is /10. Ginter hype is crazy right now as well, so I'd definitely sell it!

Best of luck either way!

About a month ago I sold my 2008 Ginter Carlos Beltran Rip Card /75 for $95 shipped. I had only expected $50

The ones /10 sell for insane amounts of money, put it up for 3 day auction tonight and you'll recoup more than just some of the cost!

Re: RIP IT OR DONT RIP IT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

First ask yourself... Do I need the extra money? If not then rip it. It is your 1st and only rip card that you have ever pulled. Its not the same as buying a rip card off ebay. YOU pulled it. So I say Rip it! You may never pull another one again!

Re: RIP IT OR DONT RIP IT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

OK.....
So what am I looking at if I sell...

Maybe if I had a value in mind it would make it easier.
I keep telling myself "you buy boxes hoping for a big hit".
Isn't the rip card like buying a $80 box of cards without all the singles??

If you bought a box for $80 and someone offer you $100 for it sealed would you sell it or take the chance and break the box yourself???

I appreciate all the responses and thought on the topic. I like to hear everyones thoughts and debates.
