wooooooooooooooooooooooooo hoooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!

I posted a new thread on the main baseball boards, but I had to check in here as well. Probably going to share on a couple other boards as well.

The toughest card in the T206 Brooklyn Superbas set arrived today, and I am finally DONE!!!! Bill Dahlen's Brooklyn pose is really tough to find (the Boston pose is plentiful), and I'm pretty happy with the one I picked up. I started this set probably 10 years ago, and as my interest in modern stuff started to wane, I finally got serious about finishing up a few prewar sets. I'm very happy to complete this one.

Here's the Dahlen

You've got the Superbas/Dodgers set completed and I have the Highlanders/Yankees set completed.
Anyone else working on a team set?

Danny I have been working for 13 months on the Phillies set. Have 6 graded by SGC 40 and one in for submission. I'll scan them up later today. I love that set, but they have dried up so I might start in on a A's t206 collection or a t205 Phillies

Here is my T206 set so far. Not to bad for 13 months :p I have to admit that these are my favorite cards, and since the Phillies set is small (14 cards) and no tough players in the set, I'm tossing around the idea of doing the A's as well.

Three I graded myself and they all came back 40 so I'm going to finish it all up in 40

My latest 2 pickups:

Donovan.jpg

After I saw this Donovan t206, I knew I'd have to get one. It's just a gorgeous card even if not of one of the more prolific players of the era.

Its actually my first one. I was at a show, and a non-sport vintage dealer had some he got in a collection. He actually had two Red Sox, but I just took one. But you're right. Its a lot easier to find T206s or even T205s.
