Finally got some pickups from last weekend scanned and uploaded to my bucket. I went to a big show in the Cleveland suburbs that features mostly vintage stuff and I picked up these.

I like these League Leader cards when there's multiple big names on it. This one is special cause it's the 1961 card during the big HR race. The 1962 HR Leader card is sweet cause it's the results from that big season and I have that one on my want list too.

Got a good deal on this one, another nice Mantle card that's fairly affordable.

Everybody likes Uecker, this is his 2nd year card and I'm hunting for his RC that's in the 1962 high number series.

Always wanted to pick up the Nolan Ryan RC again and got a fair deal on this one. The corners are soft and there's a slight surface bend but not a crease/wrinkle. At least it's centered enough and represents well.

Ted arrived before the weekend but needed to be included. Always liked the card and got a good price on it for the condition.

Great additions guys. I've been browsing '63 Ueckers myself over the last month (much better looking than his rookie anyway!) but might look for a signed/slabbed copy. Can't beat a Teddy Ballgame either

Nice bunch of pickups guys. I took a bit of a break. I think I may pick up a few things again soon. I have been thinking of narrowing my focus a bit and doing more vintage and my main PC. I may cut back on sets and such.

Sounds like a good plan. I look forward to seeing your additions.

I usually don't consider 1980 as vintage, but since these 1980 Hall of Fame Exhibit cards picture Mantle, I'll include them. These are the red and blue versions. I still need the Sepia.

Great mail day yesterday for me. Another email auction with plenty of nice vintage and a cool prize for most active bidder. Here's the highlights of what arrived.
