Best way to send Magazines TTM?

Any suggestions? Cheapest way?

I have done it a few ways;
Priority flat rate envelope (fold the sase) for both directions. Pricey, but I like the firmer cardboard envelope. Best with reliable signers due to cost. Could also add cardboard to envelope. Just have to hope signer switches the cardboard to sase.
or
10x13 envelope with 9x12 envelope with cardboard in sase; costs a bit more, but suggest taping the corners for add'l support.
or
basic 9x12 envelope for both directions. Again, suggest taping the corners for add'l support.
