Yeah, I've purchased from before a few times. Never thought anything about it, but they have some amazing stuff listed right now. AMAZING.
Just wanted to make sure nothing fishy or any bad experiences around here.

here is a photobucket account that saved the fake patches of these accounts, has them seperated by id
http://s175.photobucket.com/albums/w137/FakePatches/

Has been accused of being a patch maker.

Had unauto'd Fleer bancruptcy cards, then signed (obviously fake sigs) and then *** slabbed.

Possibly had other backdoored unsigned cards. As he had 5-10 EACH of a print run of 20 '52 autos.

Involved in the Bowman Chrome Pujols SGC 96 (He removed the pic from ebay once the card was called out on CU)

Think he's in here... http://freedomcardboard.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=63201&start=0&hilit=apm+cards

Called out as a scammer on here video or messages (I'm unsure) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=moRNGGR56Lo

Backdoored (No serial #) Aflac
http://www.freedomcardboard.com/?p=104

And I'm willing to bet there's alot more....

Be warned that if the deal appears to be too good, it probably is.

I know who this guy is, have seen him at shows locally. Has nice stuff, but also has some back doored stuff and some shady stuff.

Just proceed with caution.

The last round of nice stuff he had listed generally went for more than the usual going rate. I have no idea why.

Bumping a 5 year old thread, in case anyone knew this guy (apm-cards).

I've bought from him multiple times over the years, and he does have plenty of cards that one person had no business having, but that's another story.

He recently listed a card that has been on my wantlist for years, and I was the underbidder. A buyer with 1 feedback ended up winning it for around $175, after my bid the next one was around $100. He sent me a second chance offer a day or two after the auction ended, and I declined with a link to this thread. Conversation certainly took a turn with the home invasion / murder, but if anyone knew this guy and hasn't heard from him (assuming the story is true), that's the reason.

I am sharing his message on this thread as he requested.

[h=3]2010?? Alex the store owner and the owner if this ebay name died in 2013. I am Russ the new store owner, I don't care what some blog says because it has nothing to do with me, I kept his store name because I would have lost a ton of money if I didn't, the kid on the books grossed $1.2 Million with a small shop in a state with the worst economy, whatever people think about him is irrelevant because he was a genius, lot of people were jealous of him l but he died protecting his family in a home invasion so that should be in the free board or whatever. You have a good day. Thank you[/h]

i knew him under his xyankee61x id and quickly knew who it was when he changed it to apm-cards....

dealt with him once or twice which was one or two times too many....i'm not one to scream bloody murder and accuse everyone with a nice inventory of selling fake items or shilling , but from what i could piece together myself , he was just far too sketchy for taste....

no clue about the home invasion story this guy related to you , but even if it's true , taking over the STORE and maintaining the name is one thing , but i am 100% certain ebay accounts can't be transferred (legally anyway) so i would definitely be VERY wary/skeptical....

i should have been more clear....

i am 100% certain ebay accounts can not be transferred without prior approval of ebay and then only under special circumstances......from my understanding , a prospective new owner of the ID can not be the one to request the transfer.... thus , if the original account holder had already passed away , obviously he would not have been around to request the transfer.....

I know who this guy is, and he is definitely still alive. I did some digging, and one of his former ebay IDs (photoking0313) matches up with the email address for the dealer who ran RI's only monthy show. That guy's name was Paul, but his son is Alex (last name starts with an M). The father had a stroke quite a while ago, so Alex runs the shows now. Maybe I'll go to the show tomorrow night and pretend to be interested in his ebay stuff, try to verify his ID.
