I have a long way to go for this club. I'm guessing I'm anywhere between 500-800 with Sosa (I lost track when I lost my Beckett My Collection) - somewhere over 500 but not certain how far over.

My Clemens PSA set has 1,315 cards registered with another 50+ waiting to be added. This does not include the 17 PSA graded 1/1's. I have another 400+ game used in my bucket along with 22 other 1/1s. The pacific show cards total over 1000 different cards, bucket has scans up to 1999 the set runs through 2002. I( stopped adding scans to the bucket over 6 months ago.Currently I would estimate that with all the raw cards there are over 5000 various cards in my Rocket collection.

Dang it, one day, I shall join this club. I only have about 750-800 different Mattingly's. All the darn modern game used and auto's would send me way over the top.... and way in a homeless shelter. :D Nice goin folks, it's nice to see some amazing player collectors.

You guys are all nuts. I had no idea that Scott Rolen, Darin Erstad and Hanley Ramirez even had 1500 cards.

I can't believe nobody even remembered me? :? :(

I will be reaching 2200 different Bagwell cards here in a few weeks.I actually have about 15 coming in right now and I have a deal I am working on the side as well for about 13 different GU cards I don't have as well.I will be over 2200 very shortly.I still can't believe it only took about 2 years to get this far.Really makes me wonder if I had been in it as long as some of you have...how far along I would be?

My Rolen checklist has over 6000 different cards! This is definitely going to be a LONG term project, obtaining a copy of every card (excluding 1/1's.)

I am even going for the 1/1's though I prefer to snatch them on an open auction as opposed to BIN because a lot of the BIN are very unrealistic.$995 for a Bagwell Logogman?Get real.

we're counting all the non beckett cards as well into the totals? my 1500 is just Beckett recognized.. the non recognized side of my collection I believe is at around 500 cards more or so which would have me over 2000 unique total. I don't have a current count on the non recognized stuff but I know it was over 400 years ago.

I've only got a handful of cards that aren't recognized by Beckett, maybe 12. All the others are there on their checklist. :D

I count non-recognized cards as part of my total. I'd be around 2800 if I only went with beckett. Problem is I found numerous cards that were never issued listed on their site and I've found many cards not listed that were issued. I keep my list separate with theirs as a guide.

It seems with players who played during the 80's and early 90's that they end up having a ton of unrecognized cards by beckett.I know I have close to two or so hundred different Bagwells not mentioned by beckett but a good portion of these are local releases and even a ton of star stuff. You know how crazy star cards were with all the 50 bazillion different promos and such.

I'm in with:

Will Clark
Eddie Murray
Darin Erstad

My other guy, Bucky Jacobsen, only had about 200 total.

Of course you're in for multiple people. You're like a guy hitting HOF for multi sports.

What's the numbers (ish) on your unique counts of those guys?

See above reply... I really need to get everything cataloged and scanned. Some other stats (a few months old):

Darin Erstad
84 1/1
280 game used
98 autographs
15,000+ total

Will Clark
65 1/1
293 game used
184 autographs
about 50,000 total
about 11,000 rookie cards
about 300 86/87 Tiffany rookies

Eddie Murray
haven't counted everything up yet.

What constitutes a card? Do you count Star/Broders/Mother's Cookies and that "stuff" or just cards recognized by Beckett?

What's Beckett??? ;)

I personally count any card except Broders... Mother's: definitely (And they're in Beckett). Star: Definitely. I'd bet less than 50 of my cards are not in Beckett, (4 Star Co. sets not listed, two sets are listed) but I'd guess any of the player collectors feel the same. Even most Regional issues are in Beckett: Thom Mcan, 7-11 coins, My Own Tea discs, Quaker Cereal, Ben's Bread, Hostess, etc...

But not Broders!
I'd count MattyAlexander's Papa Murphy's cards over Broders!
